Note to Modia: you suck at rebranding.
I bought my TV from these guys, because almost every B&M TV store in the DC area had irritated me in one way or another over the years, but they were both on the web and in a physical location, they seemed very legit, and they claimed to have both the TV and the matching stand in stock.
And all of that turned out to be true.  They contacted me quickly to confirm the order, shipped it quickly, and it got to DC from Texas in two days. I was nothing if not pleased with the transaction (and I’m still pleased with the TV).
Except now I’m getting mail from a company I don’t recognize. Whenever I get spam that has at least a whiff of legitimacy, if I have time I’ll dig around and see if I can figure out if there’s some connection I’m missing.  In this case the physical address listed in the spam was the same as the physical address in the confirmation email for my TV, and from that point it wasn’t too hard to figure out that “Home Theater Store” had become “Modia” (probably because “Home Theater Store,” while descriptive, isn’t very unique). I dug around the web site, though, and I never found any sort of mention that A had become B.  Oops.
This is a pretty awkward failure of customer service. If you’re going to send me email with your brand name all over it, if I knew you by another name your first order of business is to let me know who you were (and telling me why you changed your name wouldn’t hurt, either).
