Keen shoes fit my feet very well.  I have a couple pairs of sandals and a pair of Bronx shoes, the precursor to the Briggs model shown here.  They’re about four years old and starting to fall apart, which is fair since I wear them more often than any other pair.  The Bronx design, however, has been discontinued a long time.  I looked at the Keen web site tonight to see what style I’d want if I were to buy a replacement pair, and decided I liked these best.
So of course it turns out that despite their presence on the web site they’re also discontinued. There’s a new version called the Briggs II, and I don’t like the new ones as much. A cursory search reveals one pair in my size on eBay, and nothing else in stock anywhere.
Sigh.
