There’s some asshole out there who periodically uses one of my gmail addresses to sign up for skeevy “dating” sites and the like. I’ve also gotten a few password-reset emails on that account (it’s always the same one).  I don’t know if the guy genuinely thinks that’s his email address or if he’s just part of some spam/phishing/other scam network, but it always irritates me.
So today he (or a spammer) signed up for a new gmail address and used my actual gmail address as the secondary address. I used the password-reset feature, logged into the account myself, and deleted it with extreme prejudice.
Note to whoever created that address: On the off chance it actually wasn’t going to be used for evil: oops. On the much larger chance that it was either going to be part of a spam run or some other sort of activity of dubious value: fuck you and the horse you rode in on.
