At one job I once had, I noticed very quickly that the coffee was more terrible than even the usual office swill. I learned not to drink the coffee for the most part, because the pot was usually full. On the occasion I discovered an empty pot, I’d make more, and make it my way.

It’s the humid season in DC. The temperature isn’t so bad that you need air conditioning, but the damp — especially in an “English Basement” — is awful. So the choices are:
Leave the windows open for “fresh air” and have a damp apartment;
Run the air conditioning — but it has to be set colder than necessary to dry the air out enough, which runs up the...

So, uh, when I set this up I had it importing my twitter feed. It seemed like a good idea then, but now after however many hundred imported tweets it doesn’t seem to have been a good idea at all.
